How to view the source code of a website
in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (IE7)
To view the source code of a website, either click on "View" in the toolbar, then "Source," or press "Ctrl+U" on your keyboard. Internet Explorer 7 doesn't have an internal method of view source code, though, so the source code will open in Notepad.
If you wish to use a different program to edit your HTML files, click on "Tools" in the toolbar, then "Internet Options." Click on the "Programs" tab. Under the section that says "HTML editing," use the drop down box to select a different program for source code viewing.
