How to view your recent downloads and change the download location
in Mozilla Firefox 3 (FF3)
To view your most recent downloads, simply click on "Tools" then "Downloads", or press "Ctrl+J." From this new screen, you can clear your download history with the "Clear List" button, open files, or remove files from the download list. You can also search your downloaded files with the search box located at the bottom of the Downloads window.
By default, your downloads go to your desktop. This is certainly not a desirable location for your files if you do a lot of downloading, so you’ll likely want to change the location for downloaded files. To change this location, click on "Tools" in the taskbar, then select "Options." If it isn’t already selected, change over to the "Main" icon in the new window that appears. Under the "Downloads" section, click "browse" next to the "save files to" box. Select a download folder in the file window that appears next.
